More than 4.9 mln infected with COVID-19 in India



KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus infection cases has crossed 4,900,000 in India.

With a gradual surge in the number of daily infection cases, over 81,000 people have been infected in the last 24 hours. With 81,911 cases in a single day, the numher of cases has reached 4,926,914 in India.

Currently, 989,860 people are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals while  3,856,214 have returned home after recovery.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavarius has crossed 80,000. With 1,054 deaths in the last 24 hours, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 80,808 until the filing of this news, according to Worldometer.
