Sudurpaschim Province sees 15 new cases, province tally reaches 4,994

4,157 cases discharged after recovery



DHANGADHI: Sudurpaschim Province has got 15 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic on Saturday.

According to Seti Provincial Hospital, out of 629 swabs tested in Seti Provincial Hospital, 13 including nine swabs of Kailali and four of Kanchanpur have tested coronavirus positive.

Among the Kailali cases are four people including one female and three males of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City, three females of Ghoda Ghodi Municipality and one male and one female each from Godavari Municipality.

Similarly, and people including two females and one male in Belauri Municipality and one male in Beldandi Rural Municipality have also tested COVID-19 positive on Saturday.

According to Dadeldhura Hospital, one young woman of Amargadhi Municipality and one young man of Jay Prithvi Municipality tested coronavirus positive in the test carried out in the laboratory set up in Dadeldhura Hospital.

With this the number of coronavirus cases in the Sudurpaschim Province has become 4,994 out of which 4157 have been discharged after recovery.

The province has seen 12 coronavirus death till date.
