Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 102



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s death toll from the coronavirus has reached 102 as of Saturday afternoon after three deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that one each from Kapilvastu, Parsa and Dhanusha have died of the coronavirus.

Nine people have died of the coronavirus in Province 1, 44 in Province 2 and 18 in Bagmati Province, six in Gandaki Province, 13 in Province 5, four in Karnali Province and eight in Sudurpaschim Province so far.

Nepal confirmed 468 new cases in the last 24 hours that took the national tally to 26,019.

Meanwhile, as many as 17,201 have recovered across the country so far after 124 discharged from hospitals and isolation centers in the last 24 hours, he shared.
