Two buried to death in Baglung landslide



BAGLUNG: Two people have died after their house collapsed due to a landslide in Baglung district at the wee hours of Saturday.

The deceased have been identified as 13-year-old Birendra BK and Prabesh BK, 6, the son and grandson of Hira Bahadur BK, a local of Nisikhola rural municipality-5.

Prabesh had come to maternal uncle’s house on Friday evening.

Similarly, 53-year-old Dilsara BK has sustained critical injuries in the incident. The other three members of the family have been rescued safely, said District Police Office, Baglung.

The monsoon-triggered landslide occurred at around 2 am today.
