KATHMANDU: The body of a person, who had gone missing in course of test of a tunnel under the Melamchi Drinking Water Project, has been found.

The body of Satish Goit, 25, project engineer has been found at Palchowki crusher located at Melamchi municipality-11 at 4:00 pm today, said Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Melamchi, Phal Bahadur Tamang.

Two employees including Goit were swept away by high-current water released through one of the tunnels as part of a routine test on Tuesday.

Search for another missing person Radha Krishna Thapa Magar,55, working as driver at the project, is underway, he added.
