Himalaya Airlines release schedule, airfare for chartered flights



KATHMANDU: The Himalaya Airlines has released the schedule and fare rate of chartered flights to bring back Nepalis stranded abroad.

The Airlines made public the schedule of its chartered flights that will rescue Nepalis stranded in various countries from June 16-20.

As per the schedule released by the Himalaya Airlines, it would make its first flight to Colombo of Sri Lanka and Male of the Maldives. The fare of the first flight has been determined as 380 dollars.

Similarly, the fare of the second flights from Male has been set as 480 dollars while the fare of the flights from Dhaka of Bangladesh has been determined as 165 dollars.

Likewise, Himalaya Airlines has determined 365 dollars as the fare of the flight from Abu Dhabi of UAE and 465 dollars from Dammam of Saudi Arabia.

Issuing a press release, the Himalaya Airlines also set the fare of the flight from Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia and Singapore as 372 dollars. The Airlines released the schedule of the flights as per the government’s decision to bring back Nepalis stranded in different countries due to COVID-19.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation had given permission to Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines for the same as well as permission was also granted to 24 foreign airlines for the flights.
