KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged students to reap maximum benefits from the alternative teaching technology.
Expressing best wishes in a televised address to the nation at the inaugural session of the alternative teaching technology initiated by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on Monday, Prime Minister Oli urged all the concerned to make best use of it.
Oli said the alternative teaching methodology has been initiated with the aim of giving continuity to the children’s study that has been badly hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, he also hinted that educational system will undergo changes once the coronavirus pandemic will subside.
Around 7 million students are currently at home due to the lockdown imposed by the government since March 24.
The Ministry of Education has started teaching-learning activities through TV, Radio and digital technology.
