166 Nepalis arriving from Oman today



KATHMANDU: Nepali people stranded in Oman are returning to Nepal on Monday.

A total of 166 people will arrive in Kathmandu via a flight of Salam Air at 1:30 pm, according to the Nepali Embassy in Oman.

“The Salam Air with 166 Nepali people on board will land at 1:30 pm today,” informed Raj Kumar Chhetri, the Spokesperson for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).

They are returning home for a cheaper airfare than the one fixed by the government. According to the Embassy, one-way ticket fare per head is Rs 36,261.
