Govt offices resume operation from today



KATHMANDU: All the government offices that remained shut since March 24 are coming into operation from today.

The government offices are set to resume starting Monday after two and a half months as per the cabinet decision last Wednesday.

The government has decided to open offices in the first phase with 50 percent of staffers, in the second phase with 75 percent of staffers and offices of NGOs and private sector including banks and financial institutions in the third phase.

Shops have opened and vehicles have come into operation on odd-even system following the cabinet decision.
