Banks to open in two shifts a day



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has instructed banks and financial institutions (BFI) to open in two shifts between 8 am to 6 pm to avoid customers’ crowd.

The Central Bank has directed banks to ensure social distancing among the customers while providing banking services and has encouraged electronic transactions.

Similarly, the NRB has said the banks and financial institutes must adopt minimum security measures for the staffers who come in direct contact with the customers.
