670 people test negative for COVID-19 in State-1



BIRATNAGAR: Some 670 people tested negative for coronavirus in State-1 so far.

Among the 233 throat swab samples collected from suspected coronavirus cases, 213 samples have tested negative.

Likewise, 357 throat swab samples tested negative under the rapid diagnostic test (RDT).

According to the Information Desk at the State-1 Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, the throat swab samples were collected from 233 people including 38 women.

Lab report of 20 samples is awaited. Likewise, five hundred and seventy two people, including 49 women, have been kept in quarantine facilities with 4,411 beds in Province 1.

Likewise, 10 people, including four women, have been kept in isolation. Some 44 ICU beds have been set up for the treatment of COVID-19 patients.

According to the Information Desk, 54 people, including five women who were in quarantine facilities have returned home.

Some 3,507 people, including 612 women are in home quarantine in the state.

Meanwhile, 654 units of personal protective equipment (PPE) have been distributed in the State-1 so far, according to the Information Desk.
