MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has provided around 25,000 PPE kits to frontline healthcare workers in the Indian state of Maharashtra to support them in their combat against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rajesh Tope, Minister of Public Health and Family Welfare of Maharashtra, took to Twitter to thank the superstar for his contribution.

Tope has thanked Khan for his ‘kind contribution’ of 25,000 PPE kits, which he claimed will go a long way to support the fight against COVID19 and protecting the frontline medical care team.

Meanwhile, Khan said: “We are all together in the endeavor to protect ourselves and humanity.”
