16 gamblers arrested with Rs 625,000 in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 16 gamblers with Rs 625,000 from Manamaiju on Friday.

A police team deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju arrested them at around 5 pm this evening.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided a room of Dinesh Panta in Tarkeshwor-9 and made the arrest, police said.
