Ex-Chief of Road Division Office dragged to court for graft

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a graft case against the then Chief of Road Division Office, Biratnagar, Jitendra Kumar Chaudhary.

The anti-graft body filed a case at the Special Court accusing of receiving Rs 3.5 million from a private company on different occasions.

Senior Divisional Engineer Chaudhary had then deposited the money in her wife’s bank account, an investigation by CIAA revealed.
