MMC settles for third position in ‘A’ Division League

KATHMANDU: Defending Champion Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) defeated Jawalakhel Youth Club in its final match of the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘A’ Division League on Friday.

At the match played at the Saatdobato-based ANFA Complex, MMC defeated Jawalakhel by 1-0 after Nishan Limbu scored in the 57th minute of the game.

With the win, MMC has settled with the third position in the tournament with 28 points from 13 matches.

MMC can climb to the second spot if Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) defeats Machhindra Club by a margin of more than five goals.
