PM to address parliament on Saturday

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will address the parliament on Saturday. Oli was scheduled to address the parliament at 2 pm today on the completion of the government’s two years.

However, it was postponed for tomorrow due to the demise of  National Assembly member Durga Prasad Upadhyay.

Cancer-ridden Upadhyaya passed away at the age of 50 at his residence in Lumbini Sanskritik Municipality-10 of Rupandehi.

Nepali Congress had sent a letter to the parliament secretariat requesting the latter to postpone Oli’s address.

The Oli-led government is completing two years on December 15.
