Sherpa defeats NRT 2-1 in A Division League



KATHMANDU: Himalayan Sherpa Club has defeated New Road Team (NRT) 2-1 in a match held under the Martyr’s Memorial A Division League Football on Friday.

With the victory in the final match, Sherpa climbed to 10th position with 14 points while NRT clinched its ninth position with 13 points.

In the 31st minute of the tournament, NRT’s Rajesh Pariyar scored a goal leading the team. In the 41st minute, Sherpa’s Stephen Samir leveled the goal score. Similarly, towards the end of the first half Sherpa took a lead with 2-1 from the goal of Tridev Gurung.

Three games are being held at ANFA Complex in Satdobato under the Martyr’s Memorial A Division League Football on Friday.
