KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist died in an accident at Sankhu of Sankharapur municipality on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Shiva Sunar, 24, of Melamchi Municipality, Sindhupalchowk district.
The accident took place when a motorcycle — Ba 64 Pa 6809 — heading towards Melamchi from Kathmandu collided with two Scorpio SUVs – one with Indian number plate and another one with number plate Ba 16 Cha 8770.
The pillion rider, Sagar Shrestha, of the same place injured in the accident, is undergoing treatment at Shankharapur Hospital, Narayantar, Police Inspector at the Metropolitan Police Sector, Sankhu, Govinda Panthi said.
Police have arrested both the SUV drivers.
