KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a youth on the alleged charge of performing an indecent act in a public vehicle.
A team of Metropolitan Crime Division, Kathmandu nabbed the youth from Chitwan on Monday.
The accused had allegedly masturbated and ejaculated his sperm on the hair of a girl sitting in front of him in a public vehicle plying the Lagankhel-Swoyambhu route in November-December, 2018.
This indecent video had gone viral on social networking sites.
Police have suspected that the youth himself took the video of the act and uploaded it on the social networking sites.
The youth featured in the wanted list of the police after a complaint was filed at the police station demanding his arrest.
If the allegation is proved, he will be sentenced to six months in jail along with a fine of Rs 1,000 as per the law.
