18 more succumb to COVID-19 in Nepal, tally hits 1,716



KATHMANDU: As many as 18 COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,716 as of Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 821 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,49,244 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 10,955 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 842 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,36,573 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
