Husband attacks wife with acid, nabbed



JANAKPURDHAM: Dhanusha Police has nabbed a 27-year-old man for throwing acid at his wife living in her maternal home on Saturday.

According to DSP Makendra Kumar Mishra, Spokesperson of Dhanusha Police, Sanjeev Sah has been arrested in allegation of throwing acid at his wife living in her parental home.

DSP Mishra informed that Sah had attacked his wife with acid on Saturday morning.

“Sah attacked his wife on Saturday morning and we nabbed him from his quarter near Sankat Mochan School at Janakpurdham-4,” he explained, “The alleged is found to have visited his wife’s parental home and attacked her with acid.”

The victim had been living at her parental home for the last three years.
