KATHMANDU: A total of 13 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 1,215 as of Saturday afternoon with the new deaths.

Similarly, 1,946 people have been diagnosed coronavirus positive in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 208,299 with fresh cases as of Saturday afternoon.

A total of 2,503 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 170,632 in the country.

Nepal currently has 36,452 active cases.

Likewise, 1,057 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
