India’s COVID-19 cases cross 7.2 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 63,517 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,237,082.

Currently, 827,770 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 6,298,695 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 110,000-mark.

With 723 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 110,617, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
