Coronavirus-infected woman of Kapilvastu dies in Butwal



RUPANDEHI: A coronavirus-infected woman has died from the disease in the course of treatment at  COVID Special Hospital in Butwal.

A 47-year-old woman of Shivaraj municipality-5, Kapilvastu succumbed to the disease at 4:30 am today, said Dr Bishnu Gautam, the information officer for  Lumbini Provincial Hospital.

The woman tested positive for the coronavirus when she came to Buddha Community Heart Heart Hospital on September 6 for renal dialysis.

She was being treated at Intensive Care Unit.

Currently, 17 patients are undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 Special Hospital while one is being treated on a ventilator.
