Nation stands behind troops: Indian PM Modi

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has lauded the bravery of soldiers guarding the borders.

He said that the nation stands behind the ‘jawans’.

Ahead of the monsoon session of the parliament, PM Modi said, “I believe that all members of the Parliament will give an unequivocal message that the country stands with our soldiers.”

Prime Minister Modi’s comments come at a time when Indian and Chinese militaries remain locked in stand-off in Ladakh, Indian media reports have said.
