Landslide disrupts Butwal-Palpa road



KATHMANDU: Butwal-Palpa road section along the Siddhartha Highway has been obstructed due to a landslide triggered by incessant rains.

The road section has been disrupted after landslides occurred in ward no. 5 and 6 of Tinau rural municipality of Palpa on Friday  morning.

Talking to Khabarhub DSP Dillinarayan Pande of Province Traffic Police office, Butal, said an excavator has been sent to the incident site to clear the debris.

Passengers have been hit after the road section was blocked by the landslide.

This road section has been disrupted by landslides time and again since last two months.
