Death toll rises to 11 in Tanahun landslides

TANAHUN: Dead body of a person who was missing in Tanahun landslide since Monday morning was recovered today.

With this, the death toll in the landslides that occurred in Vyas Municipality in Tanahun district has reached 11.

The District Police Office said that body of Padam Bahadur Bhujel, 45, was recovered in the debris of his collapsed house.

Likewise, Rajesh Thapa, 20, of Majhphant in Vyas Municipality-9 is still missing in the disaster. Police said that a search for the missing one is on.
