NSU demands to ensure everyone’s access to education



KATHMANDU: Nepal Student Union (NSU), largely known as the student wing of main opposition party in the parliament, Nepali Congress (NC), has demanded that the government should ensure everyone’s access to education and should also improve the quality of the public schools.

In its letter submitted to Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel on Sunday, NSU has sought the government’s initiation from the government to increase the budget in education, ensure everyone’s access to education and improve the quality of public schools.

They have demanded the government to act wisely and also plan better for Grade 11, 12 and University students as well.

NSU has suggested the government to arrange for the provision of promoting Grade 11 on the basis of internal evaluation of the institution and handle Grade 12 exam as the final exam at school level arranging for the home centers for the students.
