One killed, 2 army injured in Pak firing along LoC

NEW DELHI: An Indian Army was killed and two others injured in firing by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch of Jammu and Kashmir.

Authorities said the shelling and firing from Pakistan took place in Shahpur-Kerni sector last night, drawing retaliation by the Indian Army.

This incident is the third fatality in the Pakistani firing on forward posts and villages in the districts of Poonch and Rajouri in June.

Likewise, 3 Indian Army personnel have been injured in the Pakistani firing and were immediately rushed to hospital.
