Govt to unveil policies and programs sans diplomats

KATHMANDU: Chiefs of diplomatic missions have not been invited this year to the government’s policies and programs scheduled for coming Friday in view of maintaining social distancing in the federal parliament.

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota’s press coordinator Shreedhar Neupane shared that chiefs of constitutional bodies were only invited to the program due to the fear of COVID 19.

Neupane added that the seats for the invitees have been arranged accordingly.

Earlier, 711 individuals including the Speaker, National Assembly chair, lawmakers, among others  were tested for COVID-19.
