Samples of 94 who came in contact with COVID-19 patients in Birgunj collected



KATHMANDU: COVID-19 tests are being performed on 94 people who came in contact with three coronavirus-infected men in Birgunj.

Speaking a regular press briefing on Monday, Secretary at Ministry of Social Development of Province 2 Ram Prasad Ghimire said that their samples have been collected already, adding that all of them have been quarantined.

According to Ghimire, three COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital.

He added that the hospital will be transformed into a corona special hospital.
