98-bed isolation wards, 23 ICU beds readied in Bhaktapur



BHAKTAPUR: To curb the spread of COVID-19, eight hospitals in Bhaktapur have prepared 97-bed isolation wards and 23 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds.

According to District Health Office, 10-bed Isolation ward has been readied at Bhaktapur Hospital, while six at Nepal-Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital, eight at Madhyapur Hospital, 72 at Kathmandu Medical College, Duwakot Branch and six at Dr. Iwamura Memorial Hospital, three at Nagarik Hospital, one at Sidhi Memorial Hospital and five at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital.

Similarly, 23 ICU beds were also readied at these hospitals.
