China reports 108 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths



KATHMANDU: China, where Coronavirus broke out on last December, has reported two new deaths and 108 new cases on Monday.

According to the latest figures collated by Worldometer, with two new deaths, the number of death toll in the country has surged to 3,341.

Similarly, with 108 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached 82, 160.

Currently, 1,156 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in Wuhan City, of which 1,035 (90%) are normal while the condition of 121 (10%) is critical.

A total of 77, 663 (96%) have recovered after treatment.

The deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances globally, killing 114, 160 and infecting 1,851,264 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 1,314, 532 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world, of which 50, 764 are critical. Meanwhile, 422, 572 have returned home after recovery.
