Italy reports 19, 899 deaths with 431 in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Italy has reported the second highest death toll with 19, 899 as of Monday morning.

According to Worldometer, 431 people died and 4,092 were infected in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infection cases has reached 156, 363, the third highest in the world.

Currently, 102, 253 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 3,343 are critical. A total of 34, 211 have returned home after recovery.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China, the novel virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances.

The death toll from Coronavirus has reached 114, 160 while 1,851,264 people have been infected globally as of Monday morning, according to latest figures collated by Worldometer.
