Deadline of NCP task force formed to study MCC extended by 10 days



KATHMANDU: The deadline of a task force formed by the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) to study the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact has been extended on Thursday.

Taskforce’s Coordinator Jhalanath Khanal told Khabarhub that the deadline has been extended by 10 days following a consultation with the party’s Chairmen KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

The deadline for the task force to submit a report had expired on Wednesday.

The NCP had formed the task force under the leadership of former prime minister and party senior leader Khanal.

Leader Bhim Bahadur Rawal and Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali are the members of the panel.
