Minister Bhattarai, Israel’s Economy Minister discuss investment, trade and tourism

KATHMANDU: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai and Minister of Economy of the State of Israel, Eli Cohen, discussed matters of cooperation in the field of investment, trade and tourism.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv, Israel, Minister Bhattarai highlighted the potential areas of investment in Nepal including hotels, hydropower, agriculture, casinos, among others.

They also discussed looking for avenues for Nepali tea, coffee, cardamom, and other spices in Israel.

Minister Bhattarai also proposed opening other areas such as restaurants and other businesses besides the caregiver sector.

The two ministers expressed their commitments for the exchange of visits of business delegation as well.
