KATHMANDU: An aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) will leave for Wuhan, China at 2:45 pm on Saturday afternoon to evacuate Nepalis from the city  that is currently reeling under the epidemic of Covid-19.

According to NAC, nine crew members including three pilots will be on board the aircraft. Four health workers will also board the aircraft, said the Ministry of Health and Population.

The aircraft is scheduled to return at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) at 2:15 am on Sunday.

The Nepalis to be brought from China will undergo screening at the airport for Covid-19 upon their arrival.
