‘Bagmati state government is proud of sport stars’



HETAUDA: Chief Minister of Bagmati State Dormani Poudel expressed his commitment to creating an environment for sportspersons to survive a dignified life.

In a message delivered on Wednesday, the chief minister said the State government is respectful to the players who remained successful in spreading the country’s good name in the global arena through sports.

He delivered this message on the occasion when the Bagmati State government was felicitating 163 sportspersons of Bagmati who won different medals in recent South Asian Games.

It may be noted that the sportspersons of the Bagmati alone had clinched a total of 163 medals including 40 gold, 47 silver and 76 bronze in the South Asian Games.
