KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel stressed the need for making the NC a people’s party.

“NC should be strengthened to safeguard democracy and constitution and maintain good governance,” he said.

He also called for organizing party’s 14th General Convention in line with the Party’s statute.

On the occasion, leader Prakash Man Singh pointed out that the NC leadership should follow party statute to come stronger.

Meanwhile, central member Dr Ram Sharan Mahat lashed out at the incumbent government for its failure  to live up to the expectation of the people.
