KATHMANDU: Leader Sunil Bahadur Thapa has been nominated Joint General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC).

A meeting of the Central Working Committee held at the party office on Friday decided to make Thapa Joint General Secretary. The meeting also decided to make six people who joined the party along with Thapa central members.

The meeting has decided to settle the dispute of active membership in a lawful manner. Now, all 77 district chapters have been directed to send the list of membership to the center by mid-December.
