Man killed in Hetauda bus-truck collision



HETAUDA: A person has died in a road accident in Hetauda of Makwanpur district on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as around 40-year-old Raj Kishor Raya of Sarlahi, Chakraghatta, according to District Police Office, Makwanpur.

The accident took place when a passenger bus, Na 6 Kha 1085, collided head-on with a cargo truck, Na 2 Kha 7538, in Hetauda at the wee hours of Friday.

Critically injured Raya, who was rushed to Chure Hill Hospital in Hetauda-11, breathed his last in the course of treatment this morning, informed DSP Indra Bahadur Rana.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking drivers and vehicles under control.
