Province 2 sees four deaths, 89 cases in past 24 hours

JANAKPURDHAM: Province 2 saw four COVID-19 deaths and 89 new cases in the last 24 hours.

According to Bijaya Jha, the senior Health Administrator at the Province Health Directorate, the province saw three deaths in Sarlahi and one in Saptari of late, soaring the province COVID-19 death tally to 153 now.

Similarly, the province witnessed 89 new cases in the past 24 hours taking the province infection case tally to 14,321 till date.

The province saw 48 new cases in Saptari, 12 in Bara, 8 in Parsa, 7 in Siraha, 5 in Sarlahi, 3 in Dhanusha, 2 in Rautahat and 4 in the swabs outside the province.

Similarly, including 20 females and 101 males discharged today, the province has seen 12,293 discharged till date.

There are 1,875 active cases of coronavirus currently.
