Govt fixes fee for COVID-19 antigen test at Rs 1,000

KATHMANDU: The government has fixed the fee for the COVID19 antigen test at Rs 1,000.

The test fee has been fixed at Rs 1,000, said Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population.

The government has fixed the fee for the PCR test at Rs 2,000.

Similarly, Spokesperson Gautam said that only the laboratories allowed by the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku, can conduct tests.

Meanwhile, the government has said that the risk of the coronavirus is increasing and urged to comply with all public health standards.

According to the Ministry of Health, all the 753 municipalities across the country have been instructed to fully comply with the public health standards.
