India’s COVID-19 cases cross 7.1 million

KATHMANDU: India recorded 54,045 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,173,345.

Currently, 838,830 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 6,224,621 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 109,000-mark.

With 710 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 109,894, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
