Two men from Bara die of coronavirus

KATHMANDU: Two people from Bara have succumbed to coronavirus in Birgunj on Thursday.

A man from Prasauni Rural Municipality and another man from Jitpur Simara Sub-metropolitan City died while undergoing treatment at ICU of Narayan Hospital, said Dr. Uday Narayan Singh.

The 50-year-old man from Jitpur Simara-4 died at around 8:30 am this morning.

According to Dr. Singh, the man had diabetes and high blood pressure.

He was admitted to the ICU of the hospital on Wednesday afternoon with fever, cough and respiratory problems.

Likewise, a 65-year-old man from Prasauni-2 died while undergoing treatment at the hospital this morning.

With two deaths, Nepal’s death toll from the pandemic has reached 97. However, the Ministry of Health and Population is yet to officially confirm the death.
