No active COVID-19 cases in Nepal’s five districts, over 500 cases in four

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that five districts out of 77 districts in Nepal have no active cases of coronavirus till Thursday afternoon.

According to the ministry, all the COVID-19 infected in Mustang, Sankhuwasabha, Manang, Dolpa and Humla have recovered and returned home.

Meanwhile, Parsa, Mahottari, Rautahat and Kathmandu have over 500 active cases.

Nepal’s Ministry of Health and Population stated that 525 people have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Speaking at a regular press briefing this afternoon, Ministry’s Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that the new cases have taken the national count to 24,957.
