China supports landslide, flood victims in Sindhupalchowk

SINDHUPALCHOWK: China has supported the landslide and flood victims of Sindhupalchowk district.

The Nyalam County of Tibet Autonomous Region of China will provide 20 tonnes of rice, two tonnes of pulses, 10 thousand face masks, 200 pieces each of solar lights and tents and 500 pieces of blankets.

Chief District Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal said that the support has been provided to landslide and flood victims of Bahrabise municipality and Bhotekoshi rural municipality of the district.

Nyalam County provided the support at the special initiative of CDO Dhakal.

Such materials would arrive in Nepal within few days. Dhakal expressed belief that the support to be provided by China would help in livelihood of the families displaced by flood and landslide.

Nyalam County has been providing support to Sindhupalchowk district on various occasions.
