KATHMANDU: Leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party Upendra Yadav has said that the border issue between Nepal and India should be resolved through dialogue.

During the clause-by-clause discussion on the Constitution Amendment Bill in the Parliament, he said that the Sugauli Treaty was insulting to Nepal, adding that it has clearly mentioned that Kali River to be considered as the border.

He said that the incumbent Prime Minister was also involved in the signing of the Mahakali Treaty, adding that the preamble of the treaty has pushed back the treaty.
