Samajwadi Party directs lawmakers to cast votes in favor of constitution amendment

KATHMANDU:  A parliamentary party meeting of Samajwadi  Party has decided to dismiss the lawmaker who will not cast vote in favor of the Constitution Amendment Bill.

The party called its PP meeting this morning to make a decision on the proposal submitted by lawmaker Sarita Giri.

Giri had submitted a proposal in the Parliament Secretariat stating that the constitution should not be amended.

Meanwhile, the party has directed all its lawmakers to cast votes in favor of the Constitution Amendment proposal to make the Coat of Arms the part of the Constitution after the government issued a revised map of the country by incorporating Kalapani, Lipu Lekh and Limpiyadhura, said lawmaker  Mohammad Istiyak Rai.
