Ghorahi Sub Metroplis spents Rs 8.3 mln on COVID-19 prevention



DANG: Ghorahi Sub Metropolitan City has spent over Rs 8.3 million on the the control and prevention of COVID-19 pandemic.

A total of Rs 8,348,705 has been spent for the management of quarantines and control and prevention of COVID-19, according to Sub Metroplitan City.

The money had also been spent on the procurement of surgical goods for the treatment of coronavirus patients and rescue of the Nepali people straned on the Nepal-India border.

Government employees, teachers, people’s representatives and Sub Metropolitan City had deposited Rs 6,605,911 in the coronavirus relief fund.

Similarly, environment the disaster management branch of Sub Metropolitan City had distributed Rs relief materials worth Rs 1,817,000 to 5,548 families.
